Client Operations Manager

Gigi Nichols is Client Operations Manager at Lightspeed GMI, overseeing and providing ongoing support for client operations and production teams to ensure best practices and continuity of support for client projects. Among her key responsibilities are overseeing project managers’ end-to-end execution of online research projects, coaching/mentoring the team, and assisting with technical troubleshooting.

Gigi joined Lightspeed in 2005, and has been promoted into various operational support and management rolls leading up to her current post in 2012. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Math from Montclair State (NJ) University.

Marketing research companies are experiencing low response rates and low engagement rates, so the industry is continuing to turn to technology to try to increase both. According to the Pew Research Center, nearly two-thirds of adults in the U.S. own a smartphone of some kind, and 46% say their smartphone is, “something they couldn’t live without.” Younger generations coming of age have never known a world without incredibly intelligent mobile devices. With the inevitable and exponential growth of technology, more streamlined mobile devices and the rise of the ‘always on’ consumer, these numbers will continue to grow dramatically.
